The inside of the hotel is in good condition and your are able to witness some of the romance it had during it's glory years. There really gorgeous detailed stained glass window leting the light poor in. Intricate cheese cake modind adds dimension to the large lobby. A blast from the past... a old player piano speaks to you with out a word.
The hotel is currently open to business and has a very friendly front desk to help you with your stay. The have lots of rooms.
Score- On the side of the hotel is Bar that features Drag revue shows. Some of the acts are quite good. The Drinks at score are great. All the latest dance tunes are played at the dance club. They have a small intimate patio to socialize on and smoke.

on the back side of the hotel is one of the origonal signs to the entrance.
Origonally The building was called the Van Nuys. I do not know the exact reason and history behind this. but I notice the name change happened while room rate were being advertised for a dollar a day. This is posted on the side of building in the alley on the wall is mostly withered away. Prices have gone up since the.
There
was a restaurant there at the Barclay hotel that is since closed down. The great
retail space is open currently.
